Community College Students Program

Having access to the Internet at home can help you make the most of your college education by giving you greater access to academic resources and employment possibilities. Right now, as part of an Internet Essentials pilot program, community college students in Colorado and Illinois can access affordable Internet at home.

Do you qualify?

This Community College pilot is being offered on a
trial basis in Illinois and Colorado.

Eligible Individuals:

  • Must be enrolled in a 2-year community college.* View the current list of eligible colleges below.

  • Must be a Pell Grant recipient.

  • Must not have outstanding debt to Comcast that is less than a year old. Individuals with outstanding debt more than one year old may still be eligible.

  • Must live in an area where Comcast Internet service is available but not have subscribed to it within the last 90 days.

*Community college is defined as a 2-year public post-secondary educational institution.

Eligible students can get a desktop or laptop computer for
$ 149 99 + tax
